Traveling to the Dam Short Film Festival is a unique experience. Boulder City is a mere 40 minutes from the Las Vegas strip and even closer to the Hoover Dam. The city sits next to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which a popular destination for hiking, mountain biking, and water sports.

The Boulder Dam Hotel serves as DSFF Headquarters and is the location of the Film Market, Filmmaker/Press Lounge, and Filmmaker Reception. It is literally next door to the Boulder Theatre.
